restoring didn't work

the ios 5 update didn't work

nothing worked except going into the apple store and throwing it at them

need numbers

Try extracting the contact info from your itunes backup.

iphone backups are normally stored on you pc in:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup


here's a tutorial on how to extract contact info from the backup file.

program says it can't find my contacts in the usual place (Extension location you mentioned) and now asks me to register/buy the complete copy to access any contacts
